Everglades Gator Grill in Homestead

The food was good had the gator bits & gator fried rice.. please do yourself the favor and buy the platters the bites where half the size of the platters that only cost $4 more & comes with rice, veggies & fried plantains...

The sign said open every day untill 6:30. We went at about 5:00 on July 4th and it was closed. We will be back!

Had the Mahi tacos and Mahi sandwich. Both were very good. Coleslaw and French fries also good.

Best place to get gator.

A small town spot with a big tasty gator bites. Stopped by with some friends and tried their Gator Stir Fry, Gator Tacos, Quesada and shrimp tacos. Nothing but finger licking good.

Food is overpriced and not good. Got the gator tacos and the meat was rubbery and bland. The tacos were also soggy and sitting in a pool of coleslaw juice.

I never expected that gator could be this tasty! Meat was very tender and the sauce was so yummy. You definitely should stop by if you visit Everglades National Park!!

It was amazing. Bought a burger which was made to perfection down to the last detail. Tried gator meat for the first time and i have to say i was not disappointed

Finally! I came back to Miami to visit family, and it was so hard to fund a place that sales alligator meat. However, two times after visiting the Everglades, I decided to give it a chance, and I am glad I did it! I tried the alligator sandwich and alligator bites. They were delicious. It is also affordable-ish. For that and a drink, it was $30.00. Food for a now and then out of the ordinary meal. The setting is family oriented. I loved it.

Excellent Fried Chicken. The gator was very tasty. My daughter had chili what you really like. From the outside it looks like a mom-and-pop type restaurant. Simple atmosphere, excellent food, quick-service what more could you ask for

Rustic, outdoorsy little spot with unique menu, gator bites, etc. Great place to watch the sun set and enjoy a burger.

You'd be surprised by looking at the outside how yummy the food is on the inside. It's basically a small 15x15 foot structure. Blink and you'll miss it, so pay attention! Friendly staff. Friendly patrons. Come here before visiting Roberts so you don't fill up on shakes. The tacos were so good! And the cheeseburger sub (on the specials menu) was delicious.

Excellent food will be back...

First off I'd like to inform everyone that they accept Google Pay and Apple Pay (although I've only ever tested Gpay it uses the same interface). I came with a group of twenty and was impressed with the short waiting time for the food to come out. I got the Gator Stir Fry and it was filling and delicious! Great cozy place and definitely will come back and try more when I'm back out in Florida.

Pretty good food. First time trying alligator meat, just a bit disappointed that it just tastes like tougher chicken breast.

It was my fiancé and I’s first time trying gator bites and frog legs and boy, oh boy, it was delicious and exceed our expectations. I really enjoyed the way the gator bites were seasoned and the sauce the frog legs were cooked in. The rice was great as well. This is the spot to stop at before or after a great day at the Everglades National park. Thank you Everglades Gator Grill for making our first experience a great one!

Nice place, just what you need after a day in the Everglades...Burgers are very good!The place is by the road, it has some tables inside and some more outside in the shadow.Never thought gator was so good! A must try!

Great selection of local food. There's gator everything as well as conch and frog on the menu! Seating is outdoors and it can get a little windy. The alligator tastes like a tougher chicken and is seasoned well. Conveniently located right outside Everglades national park.

Tourist trap that definitely doesn't get returning customers. The wait was over an hour for mediocre food that cost an arm and a leg. Not to mention the rude staff.

Absolutely LOVED this place!Friendly staff and great food. We were wishing we had this in Miami Beach. Decent prices for some decent food. Would eat here again. Seemed clean and up-kept. Bathrooms were clean too. Kinda out in the middle of nowhere but it was a great little find for us on a long travel day.

Not worth the wait, and the price. If you really want the novelty of saying you ate alligator go somewhere you can enjoy it.

So glad i stopped by on my way to Key West. We had the gator kabob and omg! It was so good! Good portion, well seasoned and super tasty. It was my first time having alligator meat and i liked it. I also recommend getting a slice of key like pie, so good and not too sweet.

The food was awesome! I highly recommend the Gator Stir Fry! The staff is friendly & welcoming! Will definitely come again! 😁

Found this place with my son in 2014! Brought my husband this year! It's not a fancy place, but it has the best gator! It was tender and very flavorful!

Pretty cool experience to eat gator bites. A little more expensive than what I expected, but I guess it’s the rare meat your paying for. It’s the last spot to eat for like 60 miles before flamingo park

Would love to give this place 5 stars, but the food was served very sloppy and not made with much love. My first time experiencing gator though and I would highly, highly recommend it. This place is a must if your are on your way into the Everglades! Eat gator, then see gator.

First time here gator sandwich was very tasty coleslaw was good fries coulda been alot better was a bit pricey at $15 doesn't even include drink :( Customer service was not bad. You can sit inside or enjoy the weather outside. Something different if you're in the mood for some gator.
